Listening Sessions Coming in November

Shaping the Future of CNE: Community Listening Sessions

Clermont Northeastern Schools is excited to invite families and community members to take part in our upcoming Listening Sessions — an important opportunity to share feedback, ideas, and hopes for the future of our district.

These sessions are a key part of our “100 Days to Future Focus” plan, which is designed to gather authentic input from our community to help shape the next chapter of CNE. Our goal is simple — to create a future that reflects not only what our community wants, but what our community needs. Your voice matters in that process.

We’ll be hosting two sessions:

Middle & High School Listening Session — Tuesday, November 19 at 5:30 PM in the High School Commons

Preschool & Elementary Listening Session — Wednesday, November 20 at 5:30 PM in the High School Commons

Each session will include a facilitator to guide discussion, capture ideas, and ask key questions that will help us better understand your perspectives and priorities.

If you’re unable to attend in person, don’t worry — we’ll also be offering survey opportunities so everyone can participate and have their voice heard in a meaningful way.

Together, we can ensure that the future of Clermont Northeastern is one built on collaboration, connection, and a shared vision for our students and community.

Master Facilities Plan Feedback

We need your help to chart the course for the future of Clermont Northeastern Schools.

We are launching our effort to create a Master Facilities Plan—a strategic document that will guide every dollar of investment in our school buildings and campus for years to come. This is about ensuring our physical spaces are safe, modern, and provide the best opportunities for every student.

But for this plan to truly succeed, it must reflect the vision of every resident who calls the CNE district home, not just those with current students.

Step 1: Complete the Survey Yourself

If you live in the CNE district, please start by completing the Community Feedback Survey yourself. It only takes 10–15 minutes, and your feedback is essential for weighing the importance of maintenance, modernization, and expanding opportunities.

Click Here to Complete the Survey Now: SURVEY LINK HERE

Step 2: Be a Community Connector

This step is the most critical: We need your help reaching your neighbors.

Many long-time residents, older community members, and those without children in the district don't receive our school emails or newsletters. Yet, their voices and their perspective on the community's future are invaluable.

We are asking you to be the trusted messenger. Please forward this email, post the link, or share the QR code with neighbors and friends who may not be on our list.

A special request: If you have an older neighbor or someone who isn't as tech-savvy, please offer to help them complete the survey using the link above. Capturing these voices ensures our plan serves the entire CNE community.

Together, we can ensure the Master Facilities Plan is built upon an honest and open assessment of needs from every single corner of our district.

Thank you for being the strongest advocates for CNE.

Reminder No School November 4th for Students

Preschool Update

We had such a wonderful week in preschool! The children were full of excitement as we wrapped up October with fun fall and Halloween-themed activities. Here’s a peek at what we’ve been learning and enjoying together:

-the letter, “i”
-the color, “brown”
-the shape, “oval”

A few reminders:

Please check your child’s extra clothes bag-cooler weather means we’ll need long sleeves and pants.
No school on Tuesday, November 4 (Professional Development Day)

On Thursday, our students and staff dressed up in their Halloween costumes.

Elementary Update

There were some very special visitors at the Elementary on Friday. Henry J. Waternoose  (Mr. Hartley) stopped over to help some of our youngest rockets practice their Trick or Treat etiquette. This was such a creative way to let kids do something fun while building skills. We had another surprise visitor that arrived in her “Magic School Bus”. Mrs. Frizzel got our kids to school safely, shared some amazing science facts and then visited our classrooms to challenge kids with science questions. We really appreciate these guests taking time out of their day to make our day special.

A huge shout out to our amazing lunch crew. They never miss an opportunity to connect with our kids. Today they arrived decked out in their bee costumes. They have supported our 3 B’s initiative (Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be a Problem Solver) this year by decorating the serving line with Bee’s and are always encouraging our kids but these costumes were absolutely fabulous!
